- How long does production take?
- Timelines follow scope rather than a fixed schedule. The largest variables are shoot days, participant availability, post-production complexity, and how quickly your team can review each cut.
- Do you write scripts and creative concepts?
- Yes. We regularly develop the concept, treatment, script, and interview framework from a brief, and we are equally comfortable producing from material your team has already approved.
- Do you offer ongoing content programs?
- Yes. Batched production against a content plan is how short-form work stays viable at volume, and it is materially more efficient than commissioning pieces one at a time.
- Who owns the final footage?
- Ownership and usage rights are defined in each project agreement so there is no ambiguity about where the material can run or for how long.
- How do we start?

- What information is needed for a video-production estimate?
- The most useful details are the project type, what the video is for, the filming location, a preferred shoot date, a desired completion date, and the deliverables you need. An approximate budget range helps us propose a realistic scope rather than a generic one.
- How far in advance should a shoot be booked?
- Two to four weeks is comfortable for a single-location interview or a small social shoot. Multi-location productions, event coverage with venue coordination, and projects requiring permits or building access benefit from four to eight weeks. Shorter lead times are sometimes possible with a narrower scope.
- How many deliverables can come from one production day?
- It depends on how the day is planned rather than on the length of the day. A single well-structured shoot day commonly yields one long-form piece plus several short cutdowns and a set of stills, provided the deliverables are defined before filming so the coverage is captured for each one.
- What affects video-production pricing?
- Shoot days, crew size, equipment packages, locations and travel, permits and insurance requirements, the number of finished deliverables, motion graphics, subtitling, and the number of review rounds. Scope changes after the edit begins are the most common cause of a change in cost.
- What should clients prepare before an executive interview?
- Confirm the speaker, the key messages, and the room in advance. A quiet space with soft furnishings, a scheduled block of uninterrupted time, wardrobe guidance that avoids tight patterns, and a short list of prepared questions shared with the speaker beforehand all improve the result.
- When is a multi-camera setup necessary?
- Multi-camera is appropriate for live programs, panels, and stage events that cannot be repeated, and for interviews where cutting between framings avoids visible jump cuts. A single camera is often the better choice for controlled, repeatable setups.
- Can video and photography be completed during the same production?
- Yes, and it is often the efficient choice. It works when the schedule gives each discipline dedicated time rather than assuming both can run simultaneously in the same frame.
- What building-access and insurance requirements commonly affect New York shoots?
- Many New York buildings require a certificate of insurance naming the building and management company, advance notice for loading dock or freight elevator use, and a scheduled access window. Public-space filming may require a city permit. These are typically arranged in advance of the shoot date.
