How event coverage runs
Objective and run of show
We start from what the footage is for — recap, sponsor reporting, recruitment, or social — and read the run of show against it.
Venue and technical planning
Site check where possible: camera positions, power, stage lighting, and how to take a clean audio feed from the house system rather than relying on room sound.
On the day
Multi-camera stage coverage, establishing shots, attendee moments, and scheduled interviews slotted into the gaps in the program.
Edit and delivery
Highlight film, session recordings, and the short vertical cuts that keep the event visible after it ends.
What we ask you to prepare
- Run of show and the sessions that matter most
- Sponsor and logo placement requirements
- Venue contact, load-in times, and access credentials
- Whether a clean audio feed is available from the AV team
- A short list of people you want interviewed, confirmed in advance
Turnaround
Rapid-turnaround social edits are available on many projects, but they are not automatic. Same-day or next-morning cuts require planning before the event — a defined edit spec, an on-site edit position or transfer workflow, and approval from someone who is actually reachable during the event.
Full highlight films and session libraries follow the normal post schedule. We confirm what is realistic for your event during planning rather than promising a blanket turnaround.
Examples from this discipline

Conference and Event Coverage
Multi-camera coverage of stage programs, delegations, and receptions, planned against the run of show so the footage has a defined purpose before the day begins.

Vertical Social Series
Recurring short-form series produced in batches, framed vertically at capture rather than cropped in the edit.
Event Coverage questions
- Can you deliver clips during the event?
- Often, yes — but it depends on scope. Rapid turnaround needs to be planned in advance, including who approves the cut while the event is still running.
- Do you cover photography at the same time?
- Yes. Photo and video are regularly captured together at events, with the teams positioned so they do not shoot into each other's frames.
- How many cameras do you bring?
- It depends on the room and the program. A single-stage panel and a multi-track conference call for very different setups, which we scope during planning.
- What if the venue has poor audio?
- We plan for it. Where a clean feed from the house system is unavailable, we bring independent audio capture rather than relying on room sound.
